Due to the high demand for admission, it is important that parents make early application for the following year. 

  1. The 1ststep in the admission procedure is to complete the Enrolment Application Form  and return it to school with the following documentation:
    • Copy of your child’s Birth Certificate (clear copy please)
    • Copy of both parents ID documents (clear copy please)
    • Bank statements for the last 2 months
    • Pay slips for the last 2 months
    • Most recent school report
    • Copy of both sides of the Medical Aid card (clear copy please)
    • 2 x recent passport photos of your child
  2. The 2nd step is for Caroline Stevens to book an appointment for your child to do a placement test.  This will take approximately ½ an hour for Prep school applicants, and 2 hours for College applicants.

  3. The 3rd step is for the placement tests to be marked and the necessary financial background checks to be done; your child acceptance into Grantleigh is dependant on financial clearance; placement test results; and subject to availability of space in the grade applied for.A letter of acceptance will be sent, along with an Enrolment Form, Debit Order Form and Parent Contract.  All of these forms need to be returned to Grantleigh together with your enrolment fee (proof of payment will secure your child’s place and an admin number will be allocated – banking details are provided on the acceptance letter).

    Group 3 - Grade 4 : R2800
    Group 5 - Grade R : R2800
    Grade 1 - Grade 6 : R5200
    Grade 7 - Grade 12  : R6400

    At the beginning of the 4th term, you will receive a Welcome Pack containing all the relevant information pertaining to bus schedules, uniforms, stationery lists, textbook lists, car stickers, codes of conduct, etc.

  4. An appointment can then be made with Mogie, in the school Uniform Room, to fit and purchase your child’s uniform.

  5. It is very important to note that ALL requested documentation should be returned to the school as soon as possible for data capture.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR BOARDERS

  1. Complete Boarding Application Forms and send back with requested documentation.
  2. Pay boarding deposit to secure your child’s place in boarding (which then constitutes payment of final term fees at boarding when leaving e.g. end of Matric) Weekly boarding deposit - R9 530.00 or Termly boarding deposit - R10 255.00.
  3. Pay medical deposit:R1 000.00 medical deposit if you have medical aid or R2000.00 for those who do not have medical aid.
  4. Return all required boarding information together with enrolment documentation.
